Dee Loveless is an "R" Dressage Judge
USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist
Dressage Instructor and Trainer
Dee began training and competing in the hunter divisions, but soon moved to eventing before specializing in dressage in 1990. Competition experience includes showing three horses in hand (Amara, JJ and Donna Karen) over the years in NJ, Texas, Oklahoma and New England. Dee has trained horses from young horses purchased unbroken or green to various levels of competition including, Grand Prix. Dee credits her success to the excellent trainers she has worked with including: Major Deszo Szilagyi (deceased), Captain Andy de Szinay (deceased), Franz Rochowansky (deceased), Major Jeremy Beal, Roel Theunissen, Shannon Dueck, Dr. Cesar Parra, Dr. Volker Moritz, and German bereiter Joern Kubelke. Major Szilagyi, “Captain Andy”, and Franz Rochowansky were all old world classicists; Major Beal, Messrs. Theunissen, Parra, Moritz, Kubelke and Ms. Dueck are all primarily competition trainers, a very nice combination of help from very talented people.
Many years of Dee’s showing, training and judging were accomplished while she was working as a Human Resources Director for various corporations. These years of business experience helped provide Dee with knowledge in the area of training, goal setting, professional development and good business practices. All of these skills come into play in the horse business and enable Dee to better assist her young students, adult amateur riders and fellow professionals who seek her help. Dee built a new facility in 2007 in Monson, MA, and started devoting herself to teaching and training full time there in the beginning of 2008.
One thing that makes Dee attractive to prospective clients is the variety of training and showing she has done – in addition to dressage. Below are a few pictures showing that variety with several different horses of different breeds.
